Two trucks, one family, one promise
Pinecrest Plumbing is Dana Reyes and family. We've been fixing Laramie's pipes since 2014, and the whole business is built on one idea: the price you hear before the work starts is the price on the invoice.
Dana's story
Dana started as an apprentice at nineteen, crawling under houses for a big regional outfit. She was good at the work and bad at the part where you're supposed to turn a $200 repair into a $2,000 one. After too many years of watching homeowners get one price at the door and a different one on the invoice, she earned her master plumber license, bought a used van, and started Pinecrest in 2014.
The first winter was a hard one. She thawed pipes through most of January, slept in the van twice, and figured out that in Laramie a plumber who answers the phone at 2am and shows up when she said she would doesn't need to advertise much.
Twelve years later there are two trucks, and the rules haven't changed. We work on the houses Albany County actually has: 1970s ranches with the original copper, homesteads on wells, cabins up in Centennial with pipes nobody has looked at in decades. All of it has to survive January.
We won't sell you a new water heater when a $40 part fixes the old one, and we won't push a whole-house repipe to stop one leak.
The trucks and the crew
Two trucks is a choice. It's enough that one of us can be in Centennial while the other takes an emergency in town, and few enough that Dana still knows every job that goes out.
Both are four-wheel drive, carry chains from October to May, and are stocked the same way, down to the shelf, so either one can finish either job.

Takes most of the diagnostic calls: leaks nobody can find, well systems that misbehave, water heaters that might be saved. Answers the phone more often than not.

Journeyman plumber · Dana's brother
Joined in 2017. Runs most of the installs and drain work, and is the one you'll probably see for a water heater swap. Famous for leaving a mechanical room cleaner than he found it.

Third year of his apprenticeship. Carries the heavy end of the water heater, runs the drain camera, and is learning the trade the way Dana did: under the house.
The three rules
They're painted on the wall of the shop. They're also the only sales training anyone here has ever had.
We show up when we say
You get a two-hour window for scheduled work and a real ETA for emergencies. If we're running behind, you get a call before the window closes, not after. With two trucks, we rarely are.
Price before we start
Quoted on the phone or at the door, in writing if you want it. If we open a wall and find something that changes the job, we stop and tell you the new number before we go on. Nothing new shows up on the invoice.
No upsell
If it can be repaired, we'll tell you. We only recommend replacing what's actually done for. Nobody at Pinecrest is paid on commission, so nobody has a reason to sell you anything.
